The Schleich Dinosaurs Brontosaurus Figure 15027 is a detailed model of one of the most well-known herbivorous dinosaurs from the Late Jurassic period. The Brontosaurus features a long tail, an enormous body, and a narrow neck. This dinosaur grew to approximately 15 tons and 22 meters. Scientists have never found a complete skull for the Brontosaurus, but it is believed to have had a small head similar to the Apatosaurus. The name Brontosaurus translates to "thunder lizard." It was once thought that dinosaurs snapped their tails like a whip. Schleich figurines are meticulously detailed to aid children in learning through play.
