The Hyde XT Drystar®XF Jacket is engineered for the demanding off-road and dual-sport segments of adventure touring. Constructed with an extremely lightweight, four-way stretch, single-layer waterproof outer shell, it features ripstop nylon on the outer arms and shoulders for enhanced durability. The jacket incorporates a laminated Drystar®XF membrane, offering superior waterproofing and breathability for excellent wet-weather performance. This advanced membrane prevents water penetration and keeps the jacket lightweight and resistant to windchill, while allowing the fabric to breathe. Adaptable to various climates, the Hyde XT includes direct ventilation ports on the front and back, zippered forearm vents, and a front zipper opening with a Super-airflow panel for ample ventilation in warmer conditions. Internally, it has a detachable armored mesh jacket with Nucleon Flex Plus CE Level 1 armor, designed to keep the armor close to the rider for comfort and protection, especially during off-road riding. The inner jacket is upgradeable to Level 2 Nucleon Flex Pro armor and is Tech-Air® Ready for compatibility with the Tech-Air® 5 or future Tech-Air® OFF-ROAD System. Its versatility extends to use as casual wear or a daily commuter jacket when the inner armor is removed. The jacket is CE certified as motorcycle apparel according to CE - Category II EN 17092-5:2020 - Abrasion Class B, with CE Level 1 Nucleon Flex Plus impact protection in the inner jacket (Category II EN 17092-6:2020 - Class C Impact), and is upgradeable for elbow, shoulder, chest, and back protection.
