This MacBook Air runs macOS and is compatible with applications available on the Mac App Store and from third-party developers that support Apple Silicon. It supports Wi-Fi 7 for fast wireless networking. Peripherals can be connected via Thunderbolt/USB 4 ports. Ensure any external devices or software you plan to use are compatible with macOS and Apple Silicon architecture.
Care Instructions:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water to clean the exterior and screen. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or aerosol sprays.
- Ventilation: While passively cooled, avoid blocking the ventilation areas. Do not use the laptop on soft surfaces like blankets or pillows for extended periods, as this can impede airflow.
- Battery Health: To optimize battery longevity, avoid exposing the laptop to extreme temperatures and try to keep the battery charge level between 20% and 80% for daily use when possible. macOS includes battery health management features.
