Making its debut in 1977, the Vans Style 36 Sneaker was the second design to come from the American skate brand and the first to feature the iconic Sidestripe. Cemented as a Vans Classic and renamed the Old Skool in the 90s, this sneaker boasts a smooth suede vamp and high gloss sidewalls for a clean, premium aesthetic. Features 8 oz. Canvas and Suede Uppers, Full Grain Leather Collar Lining, Gloss Finish High Sidewall, Patterned Outsole, Cotton Lace Up Closure, Iconic Sidestripe™, and Rubber Heel Logo. This version, the Old Skool 36 Lx, comes in a creamy canvas and suede upper with blue foxing tape separating the white sole from its upper, a familiar contrast for fans. License plate branding on the heel polishes off the look. This model offers elevated materials and cushioning.
