Brown Brick Weep Vents, Pack of 10. These vents are designed for cavity walls and retaining walls, satisfying NHBC Standards and manufactured to BS EN ISO 9001. Each vent measures 100 x 64 x 10mm. They are suitable for both commercial and domestic use. British Made. The product can be slotted between two bricks and mortared into position, providing an unobtrusive ventilation point for the cavity behind. The vent features a baffled grille to prevent the ingress of driving rain and wind, while also incorporating an insect grille and drip lip. This grille is sized to keep out large insects but is wide enough that it will not be blocked by debris, paint, or water droplets. Use these vents in any situation where water must be discharged from an external wall, such as at ground floor slab level, within cavity tray systems, over external lintels, or where a cavity must be ventilated on external walls 100mm or more in thickness, built from brick, block, or stone. Features & benefits include purpose-made and pre-formed design for reliable water discharge, less prone to inadvertent pointing-up than open perp. joints, and an integral front grille that prevents entry of large nest-building insects into the cavity. The 4mm wide front aperture also prevents entry of large nest-building insects. Available in a range of colours to blend with brick or mortar colour. Quality standards include satisfying all NHBC Standards 2006 Edition, manufactured to BS EN ISO 9001:2000, complying with all relevant Building Regulations, and meeting all relevant British Standards.
