The Dedal shelf, originally designed by Mathieu Matégot in 1955, is a clean, modern design made using Matégot’s innovative Rigitulle technique. Pairing metal tubing and a sheet of metal that has been perforated, bent and folded into a characterful geometric shape which, when used with other Dedal shelves, combine to form a graphical, Tetris-esque pattern. A stylish display for books, DVDs, prized possessions and other small ornaments, the Dedal shelf is a striking and decorative storage solution, perfect for contemporary homes. Available in a range of chic colours to perfectly suit your space. Designed by Mathieu Matégot. Manufactured by GUBI. The Dédal Shelf is designed in 1955 and holds the advantages that Rigitulle entails – the metal’s hardness as well as the fabric’s lightness. Though apparently simple, the Dédal Shelf is often composed on several levels.
