The uvex 1 safety shoes offer optimal protection and support for the human body in its natural movement. Based on the latest physiological research and innovative technologies, these shoes reduce stress on the musculoskeletal system and enhance the well-being of the wearer. The ergonomically designed uvex 1 safety shoes strike a perfect balance between protection and comfort, featuring a sporty, minimalist design. They are particularly lightweight and flexible, incorporating a 100% metal-free uvex xenova® toe cap for compact design, anatomical shape, good lateral stability, and no thermal conductivity. A non-metallic, penetration-resistant insert ensures flexibility. Manufactured with new performance technology for exceptional comfort and optimized by uvex climazone technology for maximum ventilation. The upper is made of hydrophobic, breathable high-tech microvelours, suitable for chrome allergy sufferers as it is synthetic. The lining is Distance Mesh for maximum ventilation, and the shaft design is almost seamless to prevent pressure points. It includes a removable comfort footbed that is antistatic, with moisture transport and extra cushioning for heel and forefoot. The collar and dust pocket are softly padded. The special two-seal polyurethane sole offers excellent damping and anti-slip properties, free from paint-wetting-impairing substances like silicones or plasticizers. Meets ESD requirements with a leakage resistance of 35 megohms. Features medial and lateral support via a specially designed side frame for anti-kink protection, stabilization, and impact protection. Certified with uvex medicare for individual orthopedic insoles and outsole modifications.
