Your adidas Originals Samba LT shoes arrive ready to wear. Simply unbox them, adjust the laces to your preferred comfort level, and you're good to go. The lace cover is an integrated part of the design and can be styled in various ways, such as keeping the laces tucked underneath for a streamlined look or leaving them visible.
Compatibility
- Casual Wear: These shoes are designed for everyday casual outfits, complementing jeans, chinos, shorts, and casual skirts.
- Streetwear: Their iconic design and unique features make them a perfect match for modern streetwear aesthetics.
- Light Activity: Suitable for walking, social events, and light urban exploration. Not recommended for high-performance sports or heavy athletic training.
- All Seasons: Can be worn year-round in most climates, though prolonged exposure to heavy rain should be avoided to protect the leather.
Care
Maintaining the quality and appearance of your Samba LT shoes requires proper care, especially for the leather and nubuck components:
- General Cleaning: For light dirt, wipe the leather upper with a soft, damp cloth. For more stubborn marks, use a specialized leather cleaner applied with a soft brush or cloth.
- Nubuck Care: The nubuck T-toe overlays require specific care. Use a nubuck brush to gently remove dirt and restore the nap. Avoid liquid cleaners that are not specifically formulated for nubuck, as they can stain or alter the texture.
- Drying: If the shoes get wet, stuff them with newspaper to absorb moisture and maintain their shape. Allow them to air dry at room temperature, away from direct heat or sunlight.
- Conditioning: To prevent the leather from drying out and cracking, apply a quality leather conditioner periodically. This helps keep the leather supple.
- Protection: Consider using a water and stain repellent spray formulated for leather and nubuck to add an extra layer of protection against the elements.
- Outsole: Clean the rubber outsole with a brush and soapy water to maintain its grip. Ensure no debris is lodged in the treads.
- Storage: Store your shoes in a cool, dry place, ideally with shoe trees to help maintain their shape and absorb moisture.
