Originally designed in the 1960s by legendary designer, Arne Jacobsen for St. Catherine''s College in Oxford, this new edition revisits the captivating character of the original while offering a contemporary touch. Available in two sizes and a monochrome colour palette, the lamp stays true to Jacobsen''s original design with its sleek, graphic expression while emphasising the balance between the elegant stem and the sculptural shade. Offering a comforting glow that can fill any space, the two sizes of the AJ Oxford table lamp ensure that the light can fit almost anywhere: the windowsill, on a bookshelf, on a desk or by the bedside. The AJ Oxford is ideal for a wide range of settings from private homes to hotel rooms, receptions, libraries, retaurants and more thanks to its charming yet utilitarian mid-century design. Each model is finished with or without the top metal shade, as well as the iconic solid brass on/off button and finger screw to fasten the glass. Designed by Arne Jacobsen. When you take a closer look at the AJ Oxford, you begin to notice little details.
