The Agile Chassis System is a full-length skeletal structure integrated into the sole. It provides enhanced stability and support, particularly on challenging or uneven terrain, helping to control your foot's motion.

The XT-4 OG offers excellent stability and grip for trail walking and light to moderate hiking. While durable and supportive, for very rugged, technical trail running or multi-day backpacking, more specialized footwear might be required. They are well-suited for day hikes and mixed terrain.

The roomier metatarsal fit provides extra space in the forefoot area, which significantly enhances comfort, especially over long distances or extended periods of wear. It allows your foot to expand naturally, reducing pressure points and preventing discomfort.

The All Terrain Contagrip Outsole provides reliable grip in wet conditions, enhancing safety. However, the textile upper (polyester) is not inherently waterproof. For extremely wet environments or prolonged exposure to rain, you may need to apply a waterproofing treatment or consider a different model with a waterproof membrane.

The EnergyCell midsole is a high-rebound compound that delivers exceptional cushioning and significant energy return. This helps absorb shock from impacts and provides a springy feel, reducing fatigue during your activities.

Remove loose dirt with a soft brush. For deeper cleaning, use a mild soap (like dish soap) and warm water with a cloth or soft brush. Avoid harsh detergents. Always air dry completely at room temperature, away from direct heat sources.

Double-check that you are wearing the correct UK size. Even with a roomier metatarsal fit, an incorrect overall size can lead to discomfort. Ensure socks are appropriate for your activity. Allow for a break-in period with shorter walks initially.

Inspect the All Terrain Contagrip Outsole for any embedded debris (like small stones or mud) that might be reducing traction. Clean the outsole thoroughly. Also, check for excessive wear on the treads, which may indicate it's time for a replacement if the shoes are very old.

Ensure your laces are securely and evenly fastened to provide consistent support. Over time, all footwear cushioning can compress; if the OrthoLite Sockliner feels flattened, replacing it with a new one can often restore initial comfort and support. The Agile Chassis System is durable, but checking for any structural damage after heavy use is advisable.

Remove the OrthoLite Sockliners and air them out separately. You can also clean the inside of the shoes with a mild antibacterial spray or solution. Ensure both the sockliners and the shoes are thoroughly dry before wearing them again. Proper drying after each use helps prevent odour buildup.
