Setup
- Initial Boot: When you first turn on your Vivobook 16, follow the on-screen prompts to set up Windows 11. This includes selecting your language, connecting to a Wi-Fi network, and creating a user account.
- Software Updates: After setup, ensure you install all available Windows updates and ASUS-specific drivers and software. These can often be found through the MyASUS app.
- Account Setup: Log in to your Microsoft account or create a new one to access the full range of Windows features.
Compatibility
The Vivobook 16 is compatible with a wide range of peripherals:
- External Displays: Connect an external monitor via the HDMI port for extended screen real estate.
- USB Devices: Use the USB ports to connect external hard drives, printers, and other accessories.
- Headphones/Microphones: Connect headphones or a headset via the combo headphone/mic port.
Care
- Cleaning: Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to clean the screen and exterior surfaces. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Ventilation: Ensure that the laptop's vents are not blocked to prevent overheating. Avoid using the laptop on soft surfaces like beds or couches for extended periods.
- Battery: To maximize battery life, avoid leaving the laptop plugged in constantly. It's best to allow the battery to discharge occasionally.
- Storage: Store the laptop in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
