Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Initial Power-On: Connect the included 65W AC adapter to the laptop and a power outlet. Press the power button to boot up. Follow the on-screen instructions for Windows 11 Pro Education setup, including network connection and user account creation. For managed environments, Windows Autopilot can simplify initial setup and enrollment.
- Wi-Fi Connection: Navigate to Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi and select your network. Enter the password if prompted.
- Software Updates: Ensure your operating system and drivers are up-to-date by checking for Windows Updates in Settings.
Compatibility:
The Acer TravelMate B3 runs Windows 11 Pro Education, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of educational software and standard Windows applications. It features:

- Battery Maintenance: To maximize battery health, avoid leaving the laptop constantly plugged in at 100% charge for extended periods. Utilize the fast-charging feature when needed for quick power boosts. The battery capacity is 53 Wh, offering up to 10 hours of use.
- Physical Protection: While built to be durable, avoid dropping the laptop or exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture.
- Ventilation: Ensure the laptop's vents are not obstructed to prevent overheating. Keep the device on a flat, hard surface during use.
