PUMA's iconic Mostro looks monstrously good in an open white mesh outfit with a solid Formstrip and TPU accents carving out the design. Signature Mostro spikes burst out from the rubber outsole with a suede outline marking the curved sole unit perimeter. This sleek and futuristic footwear design is inspired by the brand's rich history in motorsport and athletics, featuring a distinctive zig-zag closure system and minimalist aesthetic that revolutionised the sneaker world when the original low-cut model debuted in the '90s. This Vapor Gray/Black mesh edition features tonal Formstrips and suede accents, while further down we see the famed rubber-spiked outsole. Originally launched in 1999, the Mostro derives its name from the Italian word for monster, which describes its new, experimental look that marked a new aesthetic at the time. A hybrid creation that stands out while fitting in, the Mostro draws inspiration from two diverse realms: the sleek but tough sprinting spikes of the 60s and the chilled-out surfing shoes of the 80s.
