The Beetle dining chair conic base un-upholstered provides a striking, sleek expression, perfect for modern and contemporary dining rooms. Designer GamFratesi's abstract homage to the characteristics of a beetle can be seen in all aspects of its construction, with gently tapering legs and a curvaceous shell, reminiscent of the strong and graceful contours of the insect that inspired the chair. Though durable, the chairs outer shell has been moulded to gently flex for an effortless, comfortable seating experience, while the conic base provides a slender yet sturdy support and overall lightness to the design. A genuine design classic, the Beetle dining chair is a stunning combination of functionality and formal elegance ideal for a comfortable and sophisticated dining experience. Available with five chic metallic base finish options and a range of shell colours to fit seamlessly into a variety of public and private contexts. The Gamfratesi studio was created by Danish designer Stine Gam and Italian designer Enrico Fratesi. Their work combines different influences, from classic Italian Design to Scandinavian traditions. The Beetle chair is inspired by the shape of the scarab. The seat and back are made from two padded shells with curved lines like the insect's shell. The elegant fine and tapered legs in black-coloured steel make reference to a beetle's legs. All these elements are perfectly connected and crafted in a fluid manner. Super comfortable, the Beetle will be at home in different environments: around a dinner table, behind a desk, at home or in the workplace.
