Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The HOKA Arahi 8 comes ready to wear out of the box. Ensure you have selected the correct size for a comfortable and secure fit. The shoe is designed for immediate use without any break-in period required, though a few short runs can help your feet adapt to the specific cushioning and support.
Compatibility: These trainers are designed for road running and general fitness activities. They are compatible with most running surfaces including asphalt, concrete, and treadmills. While they feature a durable outsole, they are not specifically designed for highly technical or muddy trail running.
Care:
- Cleaning: Gently brush off loose dirt with a dry brush. For deeper cleaning, use a damp cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid machine washing or submerging the shoes in water, as this can damage the materials and adhesives.
- Drying: Allow shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them near direct heat sources like radiators or in a tumble dryer, as this can cause shrinkage or warping.
- Storage: Store the trainers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Using shoe trees can help maintain their shape.
- Outsole: Regularly check the outsole for wear and tear, especially in high-abrasion areas. Ensure no debris is lodged in the tread, which could affect traction.
