The Ray table lamp by designer Daniel Schofield is the modern interpretation of a pit lamp - but very puristic. The body and shade are made of aluminium, as is the practical carrying handle, which allows the lamp to be placed comfortably anywhere in the living room, but also on the terrace or balcony. The lamp is charged by means of a USB cable (incl. cable, excl. mains adapter) (charging time 8 h) and can shine for up to 30 hours at the lowest dimming level. In order to preserve the battery capacity as much as possible, the lamp should not be switched on during charging and should be disconnected from the mains when in use. Ray is a creation of the designer Daniel Schofield, in whose designs the beauty lies in the simplicity. He focuses on the essentials and the aspects that give meaning to an object.
