The Turtle Beach Burst II Pro is a high-performance wireless gaming mouse designed for competitive gamers seeking ultra-low latency and precise control. Its key benefit is true 8K wireless performance, offering an 8x faster polling rate than standard mice for quicker reaction times. A potential caveat is its symmetrical design and 57g weight, which is optimized for medium-sized hands and claw grip, and may not suit all hand sizes or grip styles.

An 8K wireless polling rate means the mouse reports its position to the computer 8000 times per second, resulting in an ultra-low latency of 0.125ms. This provides a significant advantage in competitive gaming by enabling faster reaction times and more precise aiming compared to standard 1KHz (1000 Hz) polling rates.
The battery offers up to 40 hours of continuous gameplay at the maximum 8K wireless polling rate. It can last up to 150 hours at a 1K polling rate, and up to 165 hours in Bluetooth mode.
The Burst II Pro includes three different sets of mouse skates (pure PTFE, 8-dot PTFE, and 8-dot UHMW-PE) and grip tape. This allows users to tailor the glide, control, and feel of the mouse to their preferences and playing style.
The Owl-Eye™ 30K optical sensor is optimized for accuracy on a wide variety of surfaces, including glass, thanks to its 750 IPS tracking speed and 70g acceleration. The included skate options further enhance performance on different mousepad materials.
You can switch to wired mode by simply connecting the included PhantomFlex™ 8K USB-C cable to the mouse and your computer. The mouse will automatically prioritize the wired connection and charge simultaneously.
The symmetrical shape and 57g weight are optimized for medium-sized hands and primarily suit claw grip styles. However, personal preference varies, and some users with other grip styles may also find it comfortable.
Button programming, DPI adjustments, angle tuning, and other advanced settings can be accessed and configured using the Turtle Beach Swarm™ II desktop software, available for download from the Turtle Beach website. You can save up to 5 profiles directly to the mouse's onboard memory.
Ensure the mouse is charged. Try using the PhantomFlex™ cable for a wired connection to test functionality. Check that the wireless receiver is securely plugged in and try a different USB port. Restart your computer and the mouse.
Ensure the wireless receiver is placed close to the mouse, ideally using the included USB adapter to position it on your desk. Minimize interference from other wireless devices (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, other 2.4 GHz peripherals). Try a wired connection to see if the issue persists.
Check that the Titan Optical Switches are clean and free from debris. If the issue persists, try re-installing the Swarm™ II software, as firmware updates may resolve such issues. If problems continue, contact customer support.
Ensure the Owl-Eye™ sensor is clean and free from dust or debris. Test the mouse on a different, consistent surface. Ensure mouse acceleration is configured correctly in the Swarm™ II software or Windows settings. Try using the alternative skates provided.
Ensure the USB-C cable and USB port are functioning correctly. Try a different USB-C cable and a different USB port or power adapter. If the mouse has been exposed to extreme temperatures, allow it to return to room temperature before attempting to charge.
