Setup:
- Unbox your HP ZBook Ultra G1a and connect the 140W AC adapter to power.
- Press the power button to boot up for the first time. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the Windows 11 Pro setup, including language, region, and network connection.
- Connect any external peripherals using the Thunderbolt 4 or USB-A ports. The included Thunderobot 7-in-1 USB-C Hub can expand your connectivity options.
- Log in using your Microsoft account or create a local account. Set up Windows Hello (face recognition or fingerprint) for secure and quick logins.
Compatibility:
The ZBook Ultra G1a runs Windows 11 Pro, ensuring broad compatibility with most professional software. It features:
- Thunderbolt 4 (2 ports): Compatible with a wide range of modern peripherals, docks, and external displays.
- USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A (1 port): For legacy USB devices.
- USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C (1 port): Supports USB Power Delivery and DisplayPort Alternate Mode.
- HDMI 2.1 (1 port): For connecting to external monitors and projectors.
Care:
- Cleaning the Display: Use a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth. For stubborn smudges, lightly dampen the cloth with water or an approved screen cleaner. Avoid spraying liquids directly onto the screen.
- Keyboard Maintenance: The spill-resistant keyboard can be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth. Ensure the device is powered off and unplugged before cleaning. The drain hole helps protect against minor liquid spills.
- Battery Care: Utilize HP Fast Charge to quickly top up the 74.5 Wh LiPo battery. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures.
- Ventilation: Ensure the laptop's air vents are not obstructed to maintain optimal cooling and performance.
