The ASICS Gel-1130 was originally designed as an entry-level stability running shoe, but it has evolved into a lifestyle shoe. While it offers excellent cushioning and stability for everyday wear, it is not optimized for high-performance or competitive running. For serious athletic training, we recommend dedicated running models from ASICS.

For mesh, gently brush off dirt with a soft brush. For leather, wipe with a soft, damp cloth. For tougher stains, use a small amount of mild soap diluted in water. Always air dry away from direct heat. Do not machine wash or dry. Refer to the 'Setup, Compatibility & Care' section for detailed instructions.

ASICS GEL Technology is a silicone-based cushioning system strategically placed in the shoe's midsole, particularly in the heel area for the Gel-1130. It's designed to absorb shock during impact, providing excellent comfort and reducing strain on your feet and joints.

The TRUSSTIC system is a lightweight component located under the arch of the shoe. Its purpose is to provide enhanced stability by strengthening the midfoot and preventing the shoe from twisting excessively, contributing to a more stable and controlled stride.

Generally, ASICS shoes are considered true to size. However, fit can vary slightly between models and individuals. We recommend trying them on to ensure the best fit, ideally at the end of the day when your feet are slightly larger.

For optimal comfort and to manage moisture, we recommend wearing athletic socks made from breathable, moisture-wicking materials (e.g., synthetic blends or merino wool). Cotton socks can retain moisture and lead to discomfort.

Ensure you have the correct size. Different brands or models can fit slightly differently. Check your lacing; adjusting the tightness can significantly impact comfort. Allow for a short break-in period if they feel snug.

Regularly wipe down the leather with a damp cloth after each wear. For minor scuffs or dirt, use a specialized white shoe cleaner or a gentle leather cleaner with a soft brush or cloth. Follow the care instructions under 'Setup, Compatibility & Care'.

Ensure you're wearing appropriate socks made of breathable, moisture-wicking materials. Remove the insoles to air out your shoes periodically. Consider using shoe deodorizers or moisture-absorbing inserts.

Check if the insole is properly seated. Sometimes removing, cleaning, and reseating the insole can resolve the issue. If the squeaking persists, it might be due to moisture trapped between shoe layers; try thoroughly air-drying them.

While the shoe offers stability, individual arch support needs vary. Consider adding over-the-counter arch support insoles or custom orthotics if you require additional or specific arch support.
