The Preston Innovations Hollo Elastic is designed for carp anglers who demand consistent, trouble-free performance during intense fishing sessions. Available in six strengths ranging from 9H to 19H, this high-quality elastic offers smooth retraction and durability across various carp fishing scenarios. While it provides excellent power and reliability, it requires specific pole tip preparation, such as cutting back the tip or removing the number 1 section, to ensure optimal performance without the elastic sticking to the interior walls.

No, the elastic is manufactured with a special process that makes internal lubrication unnecessary.
The H ratings correspond to standard elastic strengths; for example, a 13H is designed to perform like a 12 to 14 rated elastic.
Many anglers choose to remove the number 1 section to ensure a stiffer tip, which prevents the elastic from catching inside the pole.
Each pack contains a 3-meter length of elastic, sealed in a protective bag.
While designed for carp fishing, the various ratings allow you to choose a strength suitable for different fish sizes.
Use a standard internal bush if the tip is not cut back much, or an XLarge Internal/Slip Stretch bush if the tip has been cut back significantly.
The tip is bending too much. Cut the pole tip back further or remove the number 1 section to increase stiffness.
If the tip has been cut back significantly, use an XLarge Internal Bush or a Slip Stretch external bush instead.
Proper setup is critical for this product. You must cut your pole tip back or remove the number 1 section to prevent internal friction. If you cut the tip back significantly, the internal diameter may become too wide for a standard internal bush. In these instances, use an XLarge Internal Bush or a Slip Stretch external bush. Always ensure the chosen bush size matches the modified diameter of your pole section. Store the elastic in its original sealed bag until you are ready to rig your top kits, and keep it away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures to maintain its elasticity over time.
