Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Unboxing: Carefully remove all packaging materials and the appliance from the box. Ensure all accessories (rotisserie kit, rotating basket, grill racks, drip tray, skewer set) are present.
- Placement: Place the air fryer oven on a stable, heat-resistant, and level surface, ensuring there is ample space (at least 15 cm) around all sides and above for proper ventilation. Do not place it near flammable materials or under cabinets that could be damaged by heat.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash all removable accessories (grill racks, rotating basket, rotisserie parts, drip tray, skewers) with warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely. Wipe the interior and exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth.
- First Use: Run the appliance empty for about 10-15 minutes at a medium temperature (e.g., 180°C) to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor may be noticeable during this process; ensure the area is well-ventilated.
Compatibility
This appliance is a standalone kitchen device and requires a standard electrical outlet. It does not require compatibility with other smart home devices or specific brands. Its compact dimensions (H:36.9 x W:33.7 x D:33.6 cm) make it suitable for most kitchen countertops, though its 11-litre capacity necessitates adequate space.
Care & Maintenance
- Daily Cleaning: After each use, allow the unit to cool completely. The detachable door can be removed for easier access to the interior. Wipe the interior with a damp cloth. Clean the drip tray and any used accessories. Many accessories are dishwasher-safe, but handwashing may prolong their lifespan.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers.
- Non-Stick Tray: The non-stick tray for collecting grease should be cleaned regularly to prevent build-up.
- Storage: Ensure the appliance is clean and dry before storing. Store all accessories inside the oven or in a designated drawer.
