Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Initial Setup:
Upon first boot, follow the on-screen prompts to set up Windows 11. This includes connecting to a Wi-Fi network (preferably Wi-Fi 7 if available), signing in with your Microsoft account or creating a new one, and configuring privacy settings. Ensure you have your Wi-Fi password ready.
Compatibility:
This laptop runs on Windows 11 and features an ARM-based Snapdragon X processor. Most modern Windows applications and web services are compatible. However, for older or specialized software, it is recommended to verify compatibility with the software vendor, particularly for applications not optimized for ARM architecture. Check for any available updates for your applications after initial setup.
Care and Maintenance:
- Cleaning the Display: Gently wipe the OLED touchscreen with a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth. For stubborn smudges, lightly dampen the cloth with distilled water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Keyboard Care: Keep the keyboard free from debris. Use a can of compressed air to remove dust and crumbs. Avoid eating or drinking over the laptop.
- Ventilation: Ensure the laptop's vents are not blocked to maintain optimal performance and prevent overheating. Do not place the laptop on soft surfaces like blankets for extended periods.
- Battery Health: To prolong battery life, avoid keeping the battery at 0% or 100% for very long durations if possible. Utilize Windows 11's battery management settings.
