The Daylite is made from 210D Nylon Oxford, which offers good water resistance against light rain. However, it is not fully waterproof. For heavy rain, we recommend using a separate rain cover (not included) to protect your belongings.
The internal sleeve is designed for tablets. Depending on your laptop's size, a very small or slim laptop might fit, but it's not specifically padded or sized for most laptops. Always check your laptop dimensions against the pack's internal space.
We recommend spot cleaning your pack with a damp cloth and mild soap. Gently scrub dirty areas and rinse with a clean, damp cloth. Air dry completely in a shaded, well-ventilated area.
The Daylite is compatible with most standard hydration reservoirs up to approximately 2 liters. Osprey also offers their own line of Hydraulics™ Reservoirs that fit perfectly (sold separately).
Being a bluesign® PRODUCT means the fabric and manufacturing process meet strict environmental and safety requirements. It signifies a commitment to sustainable production, ensuring responsible use of resources and minimal impact on people and the environment.
Yes, the hipbelt on the Daylite 13 Litre Daysack is designed to be fully detachable. You can easily remove it if you prefer a simpler, lighter profile, especially for urban use.
The Daylite uses specific loops and clips to integrate with compatible larger Osprey packs (e.g., Aether AG, Ariel AG, Farpoint 80, Sojourn). Consult the instruction manual for your larger Osprey pack for detailed steps on how to properly attach the Daylite.
Ensure shoulder straps are evenly adjusted and snug. Fasten and adjust the chest strap. If carrying heavier items, attach and adjust the hipbelt for better load distribution. Check that heavier items are placed closer to your back inside the pack.
Make sure the reservoir is not overfilled. Check that the cap is securely tightened and the hose connections are firm. Ensure the reservoir is correctly positioned in the internal sleeve without being twisted or crimped.
Clean the zipper teeth with a small brush to remove any dirt or debris. Apply a small amount of zipper lubricant (e.g., silicone spray or wax) to the teeth and gently work the zipper back and forth.
