Setup, Compatibility & Care
Getting Started
Using your The North Face 100 Glacier Full-Zip Fleece is straightforward:
- Unpack: Remove the fleece from its packaging.
- Inspect: Check for any tags or labels that need removal.
- Wear: Simply put on the fleece. The full-zip allows for easy donning and removal.
Compatibility
This fleece is designed for versatility in your wardrobe and outdoor gear:
- Layering: It pairs perfectly with a thin base layer for moisture wicking and an outer shell jacket (like a waterproof or windproof jacket) for protection against the elements.
- Activity: Suitable for hiking, camping, casual wear, travel, and any activity requiring an extra layer of warmth in cool conditions.
Care Instructions
Proper care will maintain the performance and longevity of your fleece:
- Washing: Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with similar colors. Zip up all zippers before washing to protect the teeth and fabric.
- Detergent: Use a mild detergent. Avoid fabric softeners as they can clog the fleece fibers and reduce their insulating properties.
- Drying: Tumble dry on low heat or, ideally, air dry flat or hang to dry away from direct sunlight. High heat can damage synthetic fibers.
- Bleach & Ironing: Do not bleach. Do not iron, as direct heat can melt or damage the fleece fabric.
- Dry Cleaning: Do not dry clean.
