First designed by Niels Jørgen Haugesen in the late 1970s, the X-Line Chair has been brought back into production by HAY. It’s made from slim steel wire with a distinctive X-shaped frame — not just for show, but to give it proper strength and flexibility. The chrome base adds a clean finish, and the seat comes in a handful of carefully chosen colours. It’s stackable, surprisingly sturdy, and has a pared-back look that works well just about anywhere — around the table, in an office, or tucked into a corner.
