The GEL-1130 is designed primarily as a heritage trainer for everyday comfort and style, not for high-performance marathon running. For serious running, ASICS offers specialized running shoe lines.

The GEL™ technology in the heel provides excellent shock absorption, cushioning your foot and reducing impact during walking or standing for long periods.

It is not recommended to machine wash these trainers, as it can damage the materials and affect the cushioning. Hand washing with a damp cloth is the preferred cleaning method.

The GEL-1130 is inspired by the GEL-1000™ series, specifically its ninth iteration, and draws design cues from the GEL-KAYANO™ 14.

The shoes may require a break-in period. Wear them for short durations initially and gradually increase wear time. Ensure you are wearing appropriate socks.

This can sometimes occur with new shoes. Check if the laces are too tight or if there is moisture inside the shoe. A light dusting of talcum powder under the insole might help.

Use a damp cloth with a small amount of mild soap to gently wipe the affected areas. For stubborn marks on synthetic leather, a specialized shoe cleaner might be effective.
