The HP Envy 6120e uses HP 308 Black and Tri-color ink cartridges. You can also use HP 308e EvoMore cartridges for higher yields.
Install the HP Smart app on your device. Ensure your mobile device and printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Open the document or photo you wish to print within the HP Smart App and select the print option.
Place the document on the scanner glass. Use the HP Smart app to initiate a scan, or select the scan option on the printer's control panel.
You can cancel your HP Instant Ink subscription at any time through your HP account online. Cancelling will stop the monthly fees, but you'll need to use standard cartridges.
It is recommended to clean the print heads when print quality issues arise, such as faded or streaked prints. You can initiate a cleaning cycle via the HP Smart App or the printer’s control panel. Regular use of the printer will also help keep the print heads clean.
The HP Envy 6120e includes a one-year limited hardware warranty with the option to extend to two years with the acceptance of the HP+ offer.
Check the power supply, ensure the printer is connected to the Wi-Fi, and verify that the correct printer is selected on your device. Check that ink cartridges are installed correctly and have sufficient ink.
Run the print head cleaning utility from the printer's control panel or HP Smart app. Align the print heads. Check to make sure you are using the correct paper type for printing.
Ensure the printer is within range of your Wi-Fi router. Restart the printer and your router. Try manually entering your Wi-Fi password. If the problem persists, reset the printer's network settings.
Open the printer and carefully remove any jammed paper. Make sure you are using the correct type and size of paper. Do not overload the paper tray.
