Kingston IronKey Vault Privacy 50 Series USB flash drive offers business-grade security with FIPS 197 certified AES 256-bit hardware-encryption in XTS mode. It includes safeguards against BadUSB with digitally-signed firmware and against Brute Force password attacks, and is TAA compliant. This drive provides superior data protection compared to cloud services as it keeps encrypted storage under the user's physical control. The Vault Privacy 50 supports multi-password options (Admin, User, and One-Time Recovery) with Complex or Passphrase modes, allowing for robust data recovery. The Complex mode supports passwords from 6-16 characters using 3 out of 4 character sets, while the new Passphrase mode allows for passwords from 10 to 64 characters long, including numeric PINs, sentences, lists of words, or lyrics. The Admin role can manage user passwords, reset them, and configure read-only modes to protect against malware. Brute Force attack protection locks out the drive after 10 invalid password entries for User/One-Time Recovery passwords, and crypto-erases the drive after 10 incorrect Admin password entries. Additional features include an "eye" symbol to reveal typed passwords, reducing typos, and a built-in virtual keyboard to shield passwords from keyloggers. The drive can be customized and configured with a Product ID for integration with standard Endpoint Management software.
