The ANSMANN 16340 3.6V Li-Ion protected battery (RCR123A) with USB charging socket is extremely long lasting and can be recharged up to 2000 times even under tough operating conditions. It is equivalent to a CR123A but rechargeable with a lithium charger or via the micro USB port. The battery features an integrated charging status LED and very low self-discharge functionality, meaning it retains its charge for a long time, even when not in use. It is lighter than other battery technologies such as NiCD/NiMH/PB, making it ideal for modern devices like LED torches, headlights, e-cigarettes, and laser pens. This battery is perfect for high-power devices and can be used in a wide range of temperatures from -20°C to +60°C. The integrated safety board protects the cells against overload, short circuit, and deep discharge, ensuring a longer lifetime. Compared to conventional NiMH batteries, Li-Ion technology provides approximately double the energy density for the same size. Please note: Due to the integrated safety board, this battery is approximately 3-4mm longer than unprotected 16340 / RCR123 Li-Ion batteries.
