Press and hold the Xbox button on the controller until it flashes.
Press the Pair button on your Xbox console (located near the USB port).
Press and hold the Pair button on the top of the controller (between the bumpers) until the Xbox button on the controller flashes rapidly, then stays solid. This indicates a successful connection.
Via Bluetooth: Ensure your PC has Bluetooth enabled. Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices > Add Bluetooth or other device. Select Bluetooth and then press and hold the Pair button on your controller until the Xbox button flashes rapidly. Select the controller from the list on your PC.
