Transform your garden with the classic, hardy English Lavender 'Hidcote', renowned for its captivating colour and incredible fragrance. This variety features silvery-grey foliage and pure purple blooms that offer a vibrant spectacle from early to mid-summer. Highly aromatic, 'Hidcote' is a popular choice in the fragrance industry and a superb addition to any garden. Its purple flowers attract bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects, bringing your garden to life. Growing up to 60cm tall, a traditional English lavender hedge can be planted around beds, borders, or pathways to delineate garden spaces or create a striking parterre or knot garden. Space plants 30cm apart. Once established, lavender hedges are extremely drought-tolerant. Maintain their shape with twice-yearly pruning: a light trim in mid to late summer to remove spent flower heads, and another in early spring to reduce growth by approximately 2.5cm. The stems can also be cut for fragrant, dried indoor displays. Supplied as 12 established plants in 9cm pots, ready for planting.
