Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

  1. Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and laitance. Remove any existing coatings.
  2. For timber substrates, ensure a minimum thickness of 12mm plywood overlay is used and securely fixed.
  3. Mix the adhesive with clean water according to the manufacturer's instructions (typically 4.5-5 litres per 20kg bag) to achieve a smooth, lump-free consistency. Use a mechanical mixer for best results.
  4. Allow the mixed adhesive to stand for 5 minutes, then remix briefly.

Compatibility:

  • Tiles: Suitable for ceramic, porcelain, natural stone (including marble, granite, slate, limestone, travertine), terracotta, and mosaics.
