Shelf life can vary. Store in a cool, dry place and check for any changes in consistency before use.
It is water-resistant, making it suitable for model boats and similar applications. However, prolonged exposure to water may affect the bond.
While suitable for some model types, test on a small, inconspicuous area of plastic models to ensure compatibility, as it might not be suitable for all types of plastics.
Clean up spills immediately with a damp cloth. Dried resin may require scraping or the use of appropriate solvents, depending on the surface.
The resin sets at low temperatures. However, warmer temperatures will generally speed up the drying and curing process.
Clamping is recommended for larger or heavier pieces to ensure a strong bond while the resin dries.
While primarily a bonding agent, it can be used for filling small gaps, but it is not its primary function.
Ensure surfaces are clean and properly prepared. Apply sufficient resin and clamp the pieces together during drying.
Increase the ambient temperature or reduce humidity. Ensure adequate ventilation.
Allow the resin to dry completely before sanding. Use appropriate sandpaper grit for the wood type.
Ensure the product is within its shelf life and has been stored correctly. Avoid using excessive amounts of resin.
