Made from a composite of recycled plastic and wood fibres, the chairs shell has a soft, matte surface and inviting tactile touch. The Fiber collection by Muuto is made with a new innovative material composed of recycled plastic and wooden fibres: This 100% recyclable material gives the armchair great lightness and rugged robustness. The shell is made from a mix of 25% FSC™-certified wooden fibre and 75% plastic (composed of at least 80% recycled plastic sourced from post-industrial waste from eyewear production). Specially developed for the Fiber Chair series, this material gives the shell a unique, soft-touch and matte surface. Although invisible to the eye when viewed from a distance, the natural wooden fibre details are revealed when you look at the designer from a closer perspective.
