These round double thick cake cards measure approx 2.5 to 3mm thickness and are ideal for tiering or presenting small cakes or bakes such as cupcakes, gateaux, light sponge cakes and desserts. They offer slightly more support than single-thick cards, but are not as strong (or expensive) as hardboards or drums. These cake cards have a a variety of embossed foil finishes on the top and sides (known as turn edge) with a white paper on the base.
