This 12V 40A Smart Battery Support Unit and charger from Sealey is designed to both charge 12V batteries and provide support for the battery during prolonged electronic diagnostic checks and reprogramming. It is compatible with a variety of VRLA, Gel, AGM/EFB, leisure, and lithium batteries. Safety features include over-charge, over-heat, short circuit, and reverse polarity protection. The unit also features a temperature sensor for accurate charging in cold conditions and a compact design with mounting holes for permanent wall fitting. Its automatic maintaining function ensures the battery is conditioned and maintained once fully charged. Optional float modes are available at 13.2V, 13.5V, and 13.8V to match manufacturer guidelines. The unit has a supply current of 4.3A from a 230V plug and comes with a 1.65m power supply cable and 1.10m cable and clamp length. It supports batteries from 80-500Ah and has an output charge peak of 40A. Includes 1x Sealey BSCU40A 12V Battery Support Unit & Smart Charger/Maintainer 40A.
