This compact and early-flowering cosmos is set to thrive in your garden, with blooms appearing as early as 70 days after sowing. It produces a profusion of soft-yellow flowers that beautifully complement any garden design, offering a delightful contrast against shrubs and hedges. For best results, start seeds indoors in a seed tray with good, free-draining, damp seed compost. Sow seeds on the surface and cover lightly with vermiculite or sieved compost. Place the tray in a propagator or a sealed plastic bag at 20-25°C (68-77°F) until germination, which typically takes 7-14 days. Ensure light is available for germination. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual 7.5cm (3") pots or multi-cell trays. Before planting outdoors, gradually acclimatise the plants to cooler conditions by placing them outside for a few hours daily over a few weeks. Plant outdoors when all risk of frost has passed, spacing them approximately 45cm (18") apart. Water regularly until the plants are well-established. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage continuous flowering throughout the summer. This variety reaches a height of up to 60cm and a spread of up to 40cm. Supplied as 1 x Seed Packet containing 200 Seeds. Images are for guidance only; actual results may vary based on growing conditions and seasonality.
