These Zinnia elegans 'Forecast' seeds will produce a vibrant mix of colours, including purple, pink, orange, salmon, yellow, and cream. They create a stunning display in the garden and are excellent for cut flowers. These drought-tolerant annuals thrive in sunny positions and attract pollinators, providing colour all summer long. Sow seeds directly outdoors from April to May in a sunny spot with moist, well-drained soil. Space seeds thinly 3mm deep in drills 30cm apart, watering regularly. Germination takes 7-14 days. Thin seedlings to 23cm apart. Alternatively, sow indoors from March to April at 15-25C. Keep compost moist and do not exclude light. Harden off seedlings before planting outdoors after the risk of frost has passed. Plants grow up to 80cm tall and 30cm wide. Supplied as 1 packet (40 seeds).
