Grey Oyster Mushrooms are easy to grow and have a classic mushroom flavour, making them versatile in all areas of cooking. Keep your kit in a light and airy spot, watering twice a day, and watch them grow. These mushrooms thrive indoors in a kitchen, benefiting from the right light and temperature. After the first harvest, you can attempt second or even third flushes, expecting to yield at least 200-250g over several harvests. These are culinary mushrooms and have no known hallucinogenic properties. For best results, open the kit within 3 days of receipt or store in the fridge for up to one month. Instructions are included. The outer bag and substrate block can be composted or disposed of with food waste. Paper and card packaging can be recycled with standard card recycling, and the plastic bag can be cleaned and recycled with soft plastics.
