This 535mm throat scroll saw boasts an innovative design, quality construction, and unique features. The arm assembly tilts up to 45° to the right and 35° left while the table remains horizontal, allowing for greater control and precise cuts. Improved visibility and natural working position are achieved. It features a 345mm x 597mm, heavy gauge, epoxy coated plate steel table for ample support of larger workpieces. Blade changes are facilitated by tool-free PEGAS blade clamps, which are lightweight, reduce vibration, and minimize stress on the machine through a quick-release lever. The upper arm can be raised for increased clearance when threading blades through workpieces for pierced work. Variable speed control ranges from 400 to 1,400 strokes per minute, with a conveniently placed control knob. Standard features include upper and lower blade guards, an air blower, and a work hold down. Short blade actuating arms, driven by a lever and rod mechanism, enhance blade control and reduce vibration. Efficient dust extraction is provided immediately beneath the blade when connected to a suitable fine dust extractor. Unpinned blades offer a wide selection for any project, including 150mm lengths of 1/4" bandsaw blade for thicker materials. Supplied with an assorted pack of Swiss-made PEGAS blades. The arm assembly tilts, the table remains horizontal for greater control and is fitted with Pegas blade clamps for easy blade changes. It has a 535mm throat capacity and a 50mm cutting thickness capacity.
