The Yucca Elephantipes is a sturdy indoor palm originating from Central America, often cultivated in rainforest nurseries. Its name derives from its heavy, elephant-foot-like rootstock. The Yucca Elephantipes features thick, fleshy leaves with sharp, finely serrated edges. Lower leaves naturally die back as the plant grows and should be removed for a tidy appearance. This plant is exceptionally easy to care for, requiring watering only once every two weeks. It is crucial to prevent water from accumulating at the bottom of the pot to avoid root rot. The Yucca thrives in a bright location but should be protected from direct sunlight, which can cause leaf discoloration. Fertilize every 2-3 months to maintain vibrant green leaves. Please be aware that this plant is toxic to both humans and animals. The plant's height upon delivery, including the nursery pot, is 70-80cm. It is supplied in a nursery pot with a 17cm diameter.
