Geum 'Lady Stratheden' is a vibrant plant that will add cheer to your early summer garden. It produces sunny yellow flowers on self-supporting stems above lush green foliage, typically blooming from June onwards and potentially repeating in late summer. This variety is excellent as a cut flower for bouquets and is also beautiful in mixed borders or cottage gardens, attracting bees and pollinators. It thrives in moist, fertile, well-drained soil and prefers a sunny or partially shaded spot. Ideally planted towards the front of a border, it requires regular watering until established. Deadheading will encourage continuous flowering throughout the summer. For overgrown clumps, division in spring will maintain vigour. Geums are hardy plants, reaching up to 60cm in height and spread. They are supplied as 1-litre potted plants.
