The plants have very short vines, so need little or no extra support or staking. With excellent resistance to powdery mildew and pea enation mosaic virus, you can be sure of great harvests from this top-quality sugarsnap pea! Sow outdoors Sow in a flat bottomed trench 5cm (2in) deep, 20cm (8in) wide. Water the trench and sow seeds 7.5cm (3in) apart. Carefully backfill the trench and firm lightly. Keep soil moist at all times. Allow 60cm (24in) between rows. Grow on Support plants as they grow with netting and sticks. Aftercare Keep well watered, especially in dry spells. Use netting to protect pea crops from bird or moth damage.
