This FloPlast Solvent Weld Level Invert Reducer (225402) is designed for plumbing needs, providing a secure and seamless connection. It transitions from 40mm to 32mm with a precise fit. Crafted from high-quality ABS, it offers durability and resistance to impact. The white finish provides a clean, professional look. This reducer is engineered for secure solvent weld connections, ensuring a reliable and leak-free joint. It's suitable for various plumbing installations, offering flexibility in adapting your system. The ABS material is resistant to corrosion, ensuring clean water flow. This product is made to be installed with 43mm (1 1/2 inch solvent weld) and 36mm (1 1/4 inch solvent weld) pipe or fittings. If your pipe or existing fittings measure 40mm and 32mm, or has PP printed on it, then this product is not compatible and you will require 40mm and 32mm pushfit or compression fittings. This listing is for a pack of 1 solvent weld reducer designed to fit into a larger solvent weld fitting and then accept a smaller solvent weld pipe. The smaller pipe is offset to rotate and allow for significant adjustment of offset of hole centres during installation. Solvent weld fittings are secured using solvent weld cement for a permanent and strong installation. Manufactured in the UK to BS EN 1455 and is kitemarked. To make a solvent weld joint, first ensure the pipe and fitting surfaces are clean. Apply SC250 solvent cement to both surfaces. Push the pipe fully into the fitting and twist to ensure full contact. Clean off excess solvent and leave for 5 minutes to set. The installation should be left for 12 hours before testing. Solvent weld joints are permanent. Always work in a well-ventilated area and keep cement away from heat sources or naked flames. Avoid skin contact; if it occurs, wash thoroughly with soap and water.
