A natural way of keeping them under control indoors, the Venus Fly Trap is great at combining beaty with indoor bug control! A very popular Indoor Plant that is both fascinating and unusual. Venus Fly Trap lures flies towards it and then ensnares them in the trap like jaws that give it its name; slowly digesting its prey over two week period. Dionaea Muscipula needs a little bit of extra care to help it to thrive in your home but is well worth it to have these amazing plants in your home! Re-pot further as necessary and grow indoors in a bright area, ideally with four hours of full sun per day. This plant originates from swamps and wetlands so will need permanently moist (but not soggy) soil. Water regularly via a saucer and avoid watering from above, use rainwater or bottled water where possible as Venus Fly Traps do not like the chemicals contained in tap water.
