The Startech ET90110WDM2 is a single mode WDM fibre media converter kit that lets you extend a Fast Ethernet connection over single mode fibre up to a distance of 20km. The converter features Wavelength-Division Multiplexing (WDM), that enables full duplex bi-directional communication over a single strand of fibre. This kit includes both local and remote units, providing a complete solution with plug & play installation and minimal setup necessary. Extend a Fast Ethernet (10/100) connection over single mode SC fibre. Utilises WDM technology to transmit & receive data over a single fibre. Supports a maximum distance of 20km over single mode fibre optic cable. Provides advanced features including Link-loss forwarding and remote status monitoring. Supports both full or half-duplex operation. Rugged and durable steel enclosure. Plug & play installation with minimal setup required. Connections: SC Duplex Fibre Optic in/out, RJ45 in/out.
