The John Guest Speedfit reducer Push-Fit fitting is for the connection of plastic or copper pipe. Due to the smaller spigot end, two Speedfit Push-Fit fittings can be connected to form a swivel connection while using less line. Simply fully press the Push-Fit fitting onto the pipe, then lock it in place by turning the plastic nut clockwise. Unlock the nut manually, push the collet toward the Push-Fit fitting's body, then pull the pipe to release the connection to demount it. The John Guest Speedfit reducer Push-Fit fitting is up to 40 percent faster to install than conventional methods and is simpler to use in limited locations because it does not require hot works or special tools.
