Doff Power Up Lawn Seed is specially designed to work in sunny or shady areas of the garden. It is also tolerant of wet and dry conditions, making it ideal for all gardens. Key Points & Benefits: * Quick & easy to sow * Unique Nitro Coat coating assists germination and regulates moisture around the seed * Increased seed-to-soil contact for faster germination * Specially selected seed varieties to tolerate all conditions * Hard-wearing once established * Can be used for over-seeding and patch repair What is Nitro Coat? A unique coating with nitrogen, seaweed, and mycorrhiza to help the seed germinate while managing water around the seed to avoid drying out or over-watering. This is essential in the early stages of germination. Instructions for Use: Preparation for Sowing: * Loosen the soil surface to about 8cm with a spade or garden fork. * If the soil is heavy (clay), add some compost and sharp sand for drainage. * Lightly water the soil and gently rake it over. Sowing: * Sow the seed at 40g per square meter, sowing in both directions (North-South & East-West) to create a cross-hatch pattern for even distribution. * Water gently and frequently—do not dislodge the seed—until germination is seen. * Keep the soil moist throughout the season and feed with a balanced fertilizer (Doff Liquid Lawn Feed recommended). Expected Results: * Depending on weather conditions, germination can be seen around 2 weeks after sowing. * Full results may take up to 6 weeks. When to Use: * Best Months: March to October * Avoid planting during frost or drought conditions. * Apply when the ground is moist to support healthy germination. Where to Use: * Suitable for all soil types * Can be used to create new lawns or overseed/repair patches.
