The Long Chuck Tapered Mainline is designed for casting at range without a leader knot, ideal for weedy venues. It comes on a 300m spool with 8m sections of 0.47mm (30lb) line at each end for casting force and abrasion resistance, plus a 2m tapering section. The line can be reversed on the spool if cut off. This tapered mainline offers ultra-low stretch for better rod compression during casting, low water absorption, and a high breaking strain to diameter ratio. It is available in 10-30lb (0.27-0.47mm), 12-30lb (0.30-0.47mm), and 15-30lb (0.33-0.47mm) options. The green version is available for anglers who prefer colored line.
