The dial of this special edition timepiece represents the view of the ocean as seen by the 5m deep vision of the Manta Ray endangered species. Its colours echo the gradations of sunlight refraction and the patterns symbolise waves seen from under the sea. Seiko donates proceeds from Save The Ocean models to sea conservation organisations. This watch shape is nicknamed by Seiko fans as a Samurai – because of its angular shaped design which looks as if it were sliced by a Japanese Samurai sword. Seiko Prospex watches are designed for sports lovers and adventure seekers in the water, in the sky or on land. Since launching Japan’s first diver’s watch in 1965, Seiko’s innovative watchmaking has changed global dive watch standards. Comes with special edition Save the Ocean box. This special edition watch is part of the Seiko Save The Ocean collection. Featuring a special dial that represents the view of Manta Rays, an endangered species, in the ocean. This timepiece has luminescent hands and hour markers and a date display at three o-clock. It is water resistant up to 200 metres and is completed with a blue silicone strap with a traditional buckle fastening. Seiko donates proceeds from the Save the Ocean Collection to sea conservation organisations. Powered by the calibre 4R35 automatic movement with a power reserve of up to 41 hours. Presented on a silicone strap with pin buckle. Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. 43.8mm case width. 200 metre water resistance.
